	Principal Edward F. MacMillan has been active nationally and internationally in the hotel industry for over 35 years. He has been involved in the acquiring, developing, opening and operating hotels in the United States, Mexico, the Caribbean, the South Pacific and Asia. His qualifications include:

10 years with Sheraton Hotels as General Manager from 200 to 1000 rooms. 10 years as Vice President / Operations and Senior Vice President / Development of American Airlines Hotels, operating 23 hotels of more than 12,000 rooms in 6 countries. 5 years as Managing Partner of 350 room Washington, D.C. Hotel Owner and President of Capital Dominion Properties, Inc., a commercial Real Estate firm specializing in the purchase, sale and management of urban hospitality properties. As Managing Partner with Sovereign Hotels, operated the Grand Hotel, Washington, DC, a 265 room luxury property, just out of bankruptcy. In 1996, after one year of operation, marketing, and renovation upgrade, this profitable property sold at high value increase to Westin Hotels. Principal in Hospitality Investment Management, LLC, a development and consulting company that conceived, developed and opened the urban adaptation of a Hilton Garden Inn in 2002 in Arlington, Virginia. Two term President of the Hotel Association of Washington, D.C. and a life member. Two term Director of the American Hotel Association. Past Executive committee member and 20 year Director of the Washington Convention and Visitors Association. Past Director of the Board of the Washington Convention Center. Original incorporator and member of the Committee to Promote Washington, D.C. Original member of the Mayor's Economic Development Committee. Non Industry affiliations include President of the National Capital USO, Director and Executive Committee member of the Greater Washington Board of Trade, and the Director of the Washington Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. Holds a BS in Hotel Administration, Cum Laude, from the University of New Hampshire.
